This month I have decided to link up with Kerri- Ann ( Life As Our Little Family ) & Sian ( Potty Mouthed Mummy) for this months Count Your Lucky Stars.
4 years ago ( this coming weekend to be exact) I had an operation that would change my life ,for the best hopefully forever. I have had Crohns Disease since I was 12 years old, although i was only diagnosed with it at 18. I was very lucky to get to 37 years of age before having any surgery but despite a very tough time for ages after my op I have finally accepted what was always the best thing for me.
I now have a stoma - please feel free to read this post with photos of my stoma bag if you wish...! At the time I was not very thankful but now despite the odd bad day or 3 I know how much better my quality of life is.
My youngest son was 7 months when I was taken to hospital & it was scary to wonder if this would be the last time I would see my children.
I know this is quite a serious one for a 1st posting but this just proves more how much I must count the blessings how lucky I really am to continue to watch these 2 Monkeys grow,
Why don't you join in too & tell us what you are thankful for?
Thank you for reading.

It's so wonderfully refreshing to read someone being thankful when they are actually dealing with something more than just everyday pains and whinges. What a wonderful attitude and gorgeous pic. Thanks for linking to #countluckystars xx
